Meet Dr. Lauren Koch

Dr. Lauren Koch is the owner and dentist at Avondale Dental Studio. She has been practicing dentistry in Chicago for over a decade, serving a wide range of communities across the city before opening her own practice in the neighborhood she calls home. Dr. Koch loves seeing patients of all ages and hopes to become your family's dentist for years to come.

Dr. Koch grew up in the California Bay Area before moving to Michigan in high school. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, a master's degree from Eastern Michigan University, and her DDS from the University of Michigan in 2014. After dental school, she moved to Chicago where she has practiced ever since.

Dr. Koch has lived in the Avondale and Logan Square neighborhoods since 2019. When it came time to open her own practice, the choice of location was easy: just a few blocks from where she once lived, in the community she already loved.

Dr. Koch takes a comprehensive approach to dentistry, with a focus on long-term oral health, patient education, and conservative treatment. She is committed to continuing education, including advanced training through the Pankey Institute, and stays current with advancements in dental technology and techniques so she can offer thoughtful, individualized care.

Dr. Koch is an active member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and American Dental Association.

Outside the office, Dr. Koch enjoys being part of the Avondale and Logan Square community. You can often find her at local restaurants, nearby parks, or out and about with her husband Devin and their two kids, Nora and Finn. If you see her around, say hi!
